Rene has a had a diverse career starting as a professional football player,  accountant, director of a very successful award winning building business and owner of one of Sydney’s most respected building supplies company.  It is his passion for the community and sport that led him to be one of the youngest directors of Marconi Football club culminating in being part owner of The Northern Spirit football club.  The Northern Spirit attracted some of Australia’s most prominent and successful people to its board, testament to the trust people put in Rene and his vision.  It is this commitment to community, high level contacts and passion for the building and development industry that led Rene to pursue property development on a large urban scale in 2000. This passion started with the design and construction of project homes and moved onto large scale projects including: A new city centre in Kuala Lumpur and The Australian Home building Centre in Wetherill Park. In 2002 Rene through his development company turned $10million start up capital into $150 million. Since then Rene has acquired  a range of incredible properties partnering with companies like Landcom to create new communities. Rene Licata currently is involved with many exclusive projects in Sydney as being able to deliver sustainable solutions with good profit returns. Rene Licata has control of the Middleton Grange Town Centre from the family who purchased it in 2010. Rene is developing the first town centre of its kind in NSW. The Middleton Grange Town Centre investment of $500 million dollars will consist of a Town Square, 40,000sqm of Retail & Commercial areas with over 600 apartments including 40 terrace housing lots.
